The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say.
Nobody tells you that the hardest about writing a book is when you’re done with it. Trying to publish, market and sell it isn’t the easiest thing to do. I only found that out after self-publishing my novel La Chulla Vida. But I definitely do not regret it! It was the best decision for me. And it could be for you too.
I love to write, and I also love it when other people read my work. So it didn’t make sense for me to go through a traditional publisher because the entire process takes forever without the guarantee that they’ll even accept your manuscript. Either your manuscript is buried under a stack of a thousand other manuscripts or they reject you outright because you don’t guarantee them a good return on investment. After all, they are a business. I really wanted my friends and family to read my novel and so no need for it to be approved by a publisher before that good happen. And if you feel the same way, let me help you make that dream come true. Whenever someone says he/she wants to be a writer, I get really excited and supportive. The world needs more artists. So if you want to be one…BE ONE!
